Tarek is a seasoned Human Capital consultant, CHRO and speaker, his wealth of experience spans a period of over 16 years. After graduating from American University in 2004 with a degree in economics and business administration, He started his first job working as a business development manager for various projects in the construction development field. By 2006, changed the scope of his career to meet his passion of Human resources to lead the HR department in the field of technology and software development. Afterwards he started the journey of Human Recourses consulting specialized in talent management, total rewards and salary benchmarks.

In 2024, Tarek became the co-founder and Executive partner of High Return group’s business in Saudi Arabia, brings a diversified experience and exposure with a multitude of industries across a number of countries. His industry exposure includes – but not limited to – wide range of commercial enterprises, his industry exposure and expertise further expanded to include: telecommunications, manufacturing, IT services, education, oil and gas, pharmaceutical, healthcare, investment, banking, real estate and non-profits such as Etisalat Group and  PepsiCo; where he led the organization development function for 4000+ employees. Tarek managed to set his organization at par from competition where he managed the HR department to win Best HR department of the year 3 years in a row in the IBA Stevie's Awards ( international business awards ) and being recognized as best employer in GCC, Africa and in Egypt.

Tarek has been a guest speaker in key events in the HR community discussing different topics in HR such as organization design, HR transformations, role of internal com in change management, and much more.
